Purpose of the Training

This ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct and manage Quality Management System (QMS) audits effectively, in compliance with ISO 9001:2015and ISO 19011 requirements. The training incorporates practical workshops, ensuring that participants not only understand audit principles but also apply them in real-world scenarios.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for this training. However, prior completion of an ISO 9001 Fundamentals Training is recommended for better comprehension.

• Quality terminology and fundamental principles
• Overview of the Quality Management System
• Audit concepts, types, and resource requirements
• Auditor responsibilities and code of conduct
• Planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on audits
• Effective questioning, interview techniques, and audit findings
• Managing audit challenges and audit psychology
• Identification and classification of nonconformities
• Corrective actions and follow-up activities
• Final examination

Certification Requirements

• Participants must attend at least 80 percent of the training.
• A written examination is required, consisting of four sections, with a minimum passing score of 50 percent per section and a total score of 63 out of 90.
• Participants who do not pass the first attempt are eligible for one free retake.

Successful participants will receive an Exemplar Global-approved Lead Auditor Certificate. Those who do not meet the passing criteria will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
