Purpose of the Training

The ISO 22301:2019 Lead Auditor Training provides participants with the essential knowledge and skills to conduct and manage Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) audits in accordance with ISO 22301:2019 and ISO 19011 standards. Through interactive workshops, participants gain practical experience in planning, executing, and reporting audits, ensuring organizations maintain resilience and continuity in the face of disruptions.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for participation. However, prior completion of an ISO 22301 Fundamentals Trainingis recommended.

• Overview of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
• Audit principles, types, and resource requirements
• Roles and responsibilities of an auditor
• Planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on audits
• Effective questioning, interview techniques, and audit findings
• Audit psychology and managing challenges
• Identification and classification of nonconformities
• Corrective actions and follow-up activities
• Final examination

Certification Requirements

• Participants must attend at least 80 percent of the training.
• A written examination is required, consisting of four sections, with a minimum passing score of 50 percent per section and a total score of 63 out of 90.
• Participants who do not pass the first attempt are eligible for one free retake.

Successful participants will receive an Exemplar Global-approved Lead Auditor Certificate. Those who do not meet the passing criteria will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
