ISO 50001
ISO 50001: 2011 Energy Management System (IMS) standard was published on June 15, 2011 and updated as ISO 50001: 2018 in August 2018, it is an international management system that aims to control the energy consumption of organizations. The (IMS) standard is now a requirement for organizations as well as being useful. Unlike other ISO standards, this standard is a standard that can be seen as a material return to the enterprise.
What is
ISO 50001
(IMS) is based on determining the energy policies of the organizations, managing energy consumption within the framework of the energy management programs established in line with their goals and objectives, and ensuring improvements by evaluating the performance of the energy management system.
The ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EYS) standard can also be established as an integrated system in companies that apply ISO 9001 and / or ISO 14001 standards.
