Cosmos Cosmetic

Untitled Document

The COSMOS standard  is guided by four key principles:

  • To promote the use of products from organic farming and to respect biodiversity.
  • To use natural resources responsibly and to respect the environment.
  • To process and produce clean, respectful to human health and the environment.
  •  Integrating and developing the concept of green chemistry .

The COSMOS standard covers in detail all aspects of the supply, manufacture, marketing and control of cosmetic products. Our Certification Bodies inspect each of these aspects when certifying an organic or natural product. Key sections of the COSMOS standard are sections 6 – 11.
